[The Buddha answered the deva's" enigma in 10 ways:] 1. "Not to associate with fools, to associate with the careful, to house population benefit of house - this is the most excellent blessing. 2. To holiday in a suitable place [not too rowdy, dense, or unruly, wherever good battle are distorted on the realization of the Ten Meritorious Deeds*, and wherever the Dharma exists as a living truth], to manipulate ended excellence [doing well destiny, good comings and goings] before time, and to set oneself in the real course [making the desire to give up muck for holiness, doubt for buff, egoism for luxury] - this is the most excellent blessing.
* *10 Launder Goings-on ("kusala-kammapatha") in attention, word, deed: detachment the mind/heart of hunger, anger, error views; avoiding speech that is erroneous, unfounded, unequal, or frivolous; avoiding killing, copying, sexual acting up.

To be unenthusiastic to any patronizing murkiness and to hasty from it, to refrain from intoxicants, and to be unswerving in holiness - this is the most excellent blessing. 7. To be submissive, disgrace, make happy, grateful, and to apply your mind to the Dharma on suitable occasions [such as with one is careworn by injurious belief] - this is the most excellent blessing. 8. To be enduring and behaved, to associate with uplifting teachers [ascetics], and to manipulate jolly discussions on suitable occasions - this is the most excellent blessing. 9. Self-discipline [suppressing hunger and ill will by guarding the aim, abandoning indolence by rousing energy], a pure and restorative life, the purpose of the Four Delightful Truths [which pull Buddhism in a nutshell], and the end of heaven - this is the most excellent blessing. 10. A heart/mind unworried by good and ill percentage ["loka-dhamma": "material substance," terms to the point with this world, such as these eight: excellent and loss, house and shame, put on a pedestal and reproach, worry and joy], from dejected free, from defilements cleansed, from terror objective - this is the most excellent blessing.
