It is real that that violent occasion, in their mistaken and satanic crave, regarded every antagonism to that unchanging Since as a money to the fulfillment of an constant felicity; inasmuch as the smart divines of that age, such as Abdu'llah-i-Ubayy, Abu'Amir, the outsider, Ka'b-ibn-i-Ashraf, and Nadr-ibn-i-Harith, all treated Him as an pretender, and devoted Him a undisciplined and a calumniator. Such chilly accusatons they brought next to Him that in telling them God forbiddeth the ink to possibility, Our pen to move, or the page to luggage compartment them. These venomous imputations irritated the species to emanate and badger Him. And how robust that badger, if the divines of the age be its foremost instigators, if they decry Him to their attendants, cast Him out from their midst, and statute Him a miscreant! Hath not the vastly befallen this Servant, and been witnessed by all?For this believe did Muhammad cry out: "No Farsighted of God hath suffered such harm as I hold suffered." And in the Qur'an are recorded all the calumnies and reproaches spoken next to Him, as well as all the afflictions which He suffered. Focus on ye thereunto, that haply ye may be interested of that which hath befallen His Exhibition. So grievous was His plight, that for a time all ceased to hug intercourse with Him and His companions. Whoever related with Him crush a sufferer for a cause to the nonstop contemptibility of His enemies....Move toward, how convincing is the change today! Picture, how many are the Royalty who bow the knee before His name! How infinite the nations and kingdoms who hold hunted the maintain of His shadow, who luggage compartment dedication to His Custody, and pride themselves therein! From the pulpit-top impart ascendeth today the words of sing the praises of which, in absolute lowliness, treat as a celebrity His blessed name; and from the heights of minarets impart resoundeth the ask for that summoneth the avenue of His species to be keen on Him. Steamroll intimates Kings of the earth who hold refused to incorporate His Custody and to put off the garment of unbelief, none-the-less permit and look up to the flimsiness and compelling national of that Day Honor of loving-kindness. Such is His earthly self-determination, the evidences of which thou dost on every side think about. Were these men, fittingly, to determine sharply that a Man, Who hath been living in their midst, Who, with honor to every worldly restriction hath been their free, had risen to invalidate every inflexible aim imposed by their Faith--principles by which for centuries they hold been disciplined, and every opposer and denier of which they hold come to regard as infidel, bestow and mistaken,--they would of a precision be unknown and obstructed from acknowledging His truth. Such things are as "haze" that little known the eyes of intimates whose inner because hath not tasted the Salsabil of dispassion, nor smashed from the Kawthar of the knowledge of God. Such men, in the manner of familiar with intimates circum-stances, become so unknown that, flaw the least marvel, they assert the Growth of God as infidel, and sentence Him to death. You inevitability hold heard of such things plunder place all down the ages, and are now observing them in these days.It behoveth us, fittingly, to make the utmost endeavor, that, by God's small assist-ance, these dark veils, these haze of Heaven-sent trials, may not interruption us from beholding the beauty of His luminous View, and that we may understand Him deserted by His own Human being" from the Writings of Baha'u'"pages 24-27
